Where do we start?
A finance review helps you decide what to build. Before it starts, we agree the question, inputs, scope and price. It does not include a production connection or commit you to implementation.
From you: systems and versions, a report and budget example, and a finance owner. We agree how to share data separately. No files are needed for the first conversation.
For you: solution options, cost assumptions and the next stage’s scope. We agree any account-mapping example, the periods to check and other deliverables when you commission the review.
What will you accept?
Stage
Acceptance condition
Finance review
You understand the options, inputs, cost categories and exclusions. Unanswered questions are recorded.
Connection
Agreed data is loaded; refresh logs and incident handling have been reviewed.
Reconciliation
Balances for the same period and entities have been compared with accounting records. Differences are explained.
Finance model
Your finance team has approved account mappings, dimensions and calculation rules.
Planning
The agreed budget or forecast cycle, permissions and approval process have been tried.
Handover
Instructions, access and continuing responsibilities have been handed over.
We agree each stage’s scope and evidence of acceptance before it starts. You decide whether to commission the next stage.
Management reporting comes first
Reports across entities need shared report lines and account mappings. A combined management view does not automatically provide statutory consolidation.
Agreed management view
Separately scoped and priced
Entities, periods, account mapping and management report lines
Currency translation and exchange differences
Actual, budget and forecast comparisons
Intercompany eliminations
Agreed balance checks
Statutory consolidation and audit or regulatory assurance
What is excluded by default?
Unlimited history, ERP customisation, cleaning beyond agreed rules and planning for every department. Third-party licences and Microsoft consumption are separate costs. Additional work requires a separate agreement.
Fabric planning around your process
We choose Planning in Fabric, Excel or an add-in to fit your workflow. We explain the options, constraints and costs. Before choosing, we check your Microsoft environment settings, capacity and user permissions.
Your CFO and controller approve definitions, assumptions and results. Your IT team approves the environment and access. Sparkle’s team delivers implementation and the agreed managed service.
The agreement defines monitoring, incidents, change allowance, service hours, escalation and handover. Response time is not resolution time. Round-the-clock service and unlimited development are not included by default.
What makes up the total cost?
Cost
How it is agreed
Finance review
Scope and price agreed before starting.
Implementation
A scoped quote after the review.
Managed service
The starting monthly price above, for agreed scope.
Microsoft licences
Based on users and selected tools, separate from services.
Fabric capacity and other platform costs
Based on data, workload and architecture, separate from services.
Before implementation, we check what your Microsoft 365 agreement covers and which Fabric costs are additional.
Sparkle’s package and your finance model
The Business Central data connection may sit within Sparkle’s package. Future Finance’s model, planning and managed service are separately defined work. The quote separates them and avoids charging twice for overlapping work. View Business Central.
The solution is built in your Microsoft environment; processing and access boundaries are agreed at the start.
